KSM Realty – the developers who gave Brazil their first inland surfing destination and tropical beach, Praia da Grama – is now developing a world first Wavegarden project in São Paulo in collaboration with BTG Pactual Asset Management, one of Latin America's largest asset managers, named Beyond The Club.Â
Good news for Japan, the Wavegarden Cove technology will soon arrive in the country. Wavegarden announced the new alliance in this Asian territory, working with promoter JPF. Both companies have set themselves the challenge of developing up to 7 projects in different regions of Japan in the next 7 years.
The first Wavegarden Cove in America will be opened in Praia da Grama, located 60 miles from São Paulo. Built in partnership with KSM Realty, the world-class waves and palm-fringed white sandy beach is at the centerpiece of a residential complex and sets a new benchmark in the realtor sector.
Ahead of the official opening in May some of the world’s best surfers tested out the waves at Alaïa Bay in the Swiss Alps. Hawaii’s Zeke Lau (Hawaii), Aritz Aranburu (Basque Country), Maud Le Car (France) and some other European pros surfed Wavegarden’s 20-wave menu under the snow-capped mountains, 500 metres above sea level.
Nineteen year old Mateus Herdy (ambassador of the Wavegarden Cove now under construction in Garopaba, Surfland Brazil) enjoys an evening session at URBNSURF Melbourne.
