World champion skateboarder and Olympic medalist Sky Brown recently ventured to Garopaba, Brazil, to surf at one of our newest Wavegarden Cove facilities, Surfland Brasil, which also boasts a world-class skate park designed by legendary skater Pedro Barros.
Among the eight Wavegardens scattered across the globe, Surfland Brasil in Garopaba stands out for its unique architectural design within the realm of surf park development.
Wavegarden sets the record straight on shutdowns and reliability, energy consumption, water use, concrete, and the new air section. So, it is no surprise that the Wavegarden crew get frustrated when they hear and read a diverse variety of misinformation being circulated in the market - stories that cause confusion and uncertainty amongst potential surf park developers and visitors to our facilities. And while Wavegarden has simply focused on our business and building better and more sustainable Wavegarden Coves all over the world with our dedicated partners, we felt we couldn’t let these untruths slide anymore.Â
In a spectacular showcase of skill and surf mastery, Jarvis Earle from Cronulla and Sierra Kerr from Coolangatta emerged victorious at the BYD Pro QS3000, held at URBNSURF Melbourne.
