The Turns 2 is a mid-size wave, rising approximately head-high at take-off. It is suitable for shortboarders and others to practice vertical re-entries, off-the-top turns, carves, and cutbacks. It is faster than the Turns 1 and has a powerful section at the end that allows for a solid turn, aerial or small tube ride.
The Turns 1 is the smallest of the turn waves, standing chest to head-high. It is ideal for intermediate to expert shortboarders and longboarders to hone their skills on medium-speed, open-face waves with several steep sections.
The Malibu 4 is the largest of the Malibu waves, approximately chest to head-high. It has some fast sections for trimming and nose riding as well as some open-face sections for carving and cutbacks. Primarily, it is a longboard wave but is also very functional on a shortboard.
The Malibu 3 wave is chest-high on take-off. It is a longboarding wave although can also be surfed with a high-volume shortboard like a fish. It is a fun wave for trimming along the face, riding the nose and linking small turns and cutbacks.
The Malibu 2 is ideal for surfers learning to master the take-off, control the trajectory of their board and trim along the open-face. This wave can be ridden with a longboard, malibu, and funboard.
The Malibu 1 is an open-face wave that peels slowly from the Reef to the Bay. This wave is approximately waist-high and is ideal for surfers learning to master the take-off, control the trajectory of their board and trim along the open-face. It can be ridden on a longboard, malibu or funboard.
