The Turns 2 is a mid-size wave, standing approximately head-high at take-off. It is suitable for shortboarders and others to practice vertical re-entries, off-the-top turns, carves, and cutbacks. It is faster than the Turns 1 wave and has a powerful section at the end that allows for a solid turn, aerial or small tube ride.
The Turns 1 is the smallest of the turn waves and stands chest to head high. It is ideal for intermediate to expert shortboarders and longboarders to hone their skills on medium-speed open-face waves with several steep sections.
The Malibu 4 is the largest of the Malibu waves, approximately chest to head high. It has some fast sections for trimming and nose riding as well as some open-face sections for carving and cutbacks. It is primarily a longboard wave however it can also be ridden on a shortboard.
