At Wavegarden, we continuously work to improve how surf lagoons are experienced and operated. Our latest step in this direction is the evolution of CheckMySurf through our partnership with Surf Eye.
By combining our wave generation technology with Surf Eye’s AI video systems, we are integrating advanced video capture and operational intelligence and automated 3D coaching directly into the wave generator directly into the wave generator. The result is a more connected, efficient and data-driven surf lagoon environment.
A Natural Evolution of CheckMySurf
Originally developed by Wavegarden, CheckMySurf has been designed to enhance the surfer experience through automated video capture and coaching tools.
With Surf Eye, we build on this foundation by incorporating proven AI software and hardware, already validated across multiple surf parks worldwide.
This collaboration allows us to extend CheckMySurf beyond video delivery, introducing a system that supports both user progression and operational performance.
Integrated Video Capture Across the Lagoon
The system automatically records every surfer and tracks each ride across Reef and Bay areas using multi-angle, high-resolution cameras
Surfers can instantly access their waves through a white-labelled platform, enabling immediate review and progression. At the same time, in-lagoon screens located at the take-off provide real-time replays, session information and safety messages.
This creates a continuous feedback loop between the surfer and the wave.
From Video System to Operational Support Tool
A key aspect of this development is the native integration of the system within the Wavegarden generator.
